About the CMJ

We are a student-run medical journal based in Cambridge, founded in 1978. We are a student run journal, bringing cutting-edge, innovative articles to a worldwide audience. We use expert peer review in order to maintain high standards across the journal.

We are currently an online-only journal, and we welcome submissions from both students and healthcare professionals. We publish both literature reviews and original research, and encourage students to submit work carried out during student-selected components or short research blocks. There are no charges to submit to, publish in or read the journal.

The Cambridge Medicine Journal is recruiting! We're looking for Peer Reviewers to review articles, offer feedback to authors and engage with our journal. Peer reviewing is a fun way to engage with new research within your existing field as well as learning about novel areas of interest. It's also a great way to learn about the journal publishing process and improve your own writing skills. For those who already have experience, we're also considering applications for Section Editors. Register your interest here: https://forms.gle/osSKwbk2LgoHLS9x8
